Since the first audition in February 2013 and more months of auditions, waiting, more auditions and more waiting, we finally received the fantastic news that Ethan successfully landed the role of “Young Simba” in the amazing musical, “The Lion King”. This role will be shared with 3 other talented boys, Adrian, Josh and Jasper. “Young Nala” will be shared by four lovely girls, Ariana, Ruby, Sabrina and Ayanda.

As soon as we arrived back from Orlando on the 16th October, rehearsals started the next day, and it was 5 or at times 6 days a week spent at Carriageworks in Eveleigh. Ethan had so much to share every day when we picked him up after rehearsal. He was in total awe of the adult cast, especially how much they made him laugh!

What an absolute blessing for Ethan and our family to be part of this amazing adventure! What a priceless opportunity for Ethan to use his God-given talents and perform to a full house 2 times a week and share the stage with such a wonderful cast!
